Where is ‘Lacritec’ manufactured?

Lacritec is made in Australia. We source only the highest standard ingredients and manufacture under

the highest therapeutic standards (GMP) in a manufacturing facility regularly audited for compliance.

Why can’t I buy Lacritec in a pharmacy or other retail outlets?

Our goal is to keep the cost to customers as low as possible. Knowing many of our patients are on

pensions or fixed incomes we made a conscious decision to sell directly to patients and save you

paying a retailer margin. By calling our New Zealand free-call number or ordering online from this site you can make significant savings.

I don’t have a credit card to pay

That’s fine, for those who are unable to pay by credit card we will happily send out a 14 day account that

can be paid either by cheque or direct deposit into our NZ bank account. Just call us on NZ Free Call 0800 622 883 or Auckland (09) 801 0388 if you want to pay using these methods.

How is Lacritec delivered?

When you order with us directly, deliveries will be made to your nominated NZ address by a postal service. Delivery times will typically be 5-9 business days, with deliveries shipped from our Australian warehouse in Brisbane.

Do I take 2 or 3 capsules per day?

The dosage can vary both due to your weight and the severity of the symptoms. We recommend all patients to start at 3 per day for the first month to 6 weeks, then reduced to 2 per day maintenance dose. If symptoms reappear or get worse the dosage can be increased back up to 3 per day.

Do I have to take them 2 – 3 times per day, separately, or with food?

You may take the daily dose of Lacritec all at once if you tolerate them well, otherwise you may find that it is better taking them at mealtimes and splitting the dosage by taking 2 in the morning and 1 in the evening.

What happens when I am running out?

When our database shows that you may be running low on Lacritec we will send you a courtesy

Are there any side effects from Lacritec?

There are no known serious side effects from Lacritec. As with any product it is possible for certain

individuals to have a reaction to individual ingredients. If you have any specific concerns please

What improvement will I see?

Unlike eye drops Lacritec works systemically (ie from within your body) and can take 4 – 8 weeks to develop its full effect. Remember to get the full benefit of Lacritec, it has to be taken every day at the correct dose. It is also important to stay on the treatment to get the on-going benefit.

Can I keep taking a multivitamin when I take Lacritec?

Yes you can, there is no need to worry about additional intake of individual ingredients in Lacritec.
